The Strategic Planning Process
The planning process for UNC Charlotte’s new 10-year strategic plan will be led by the Strategic Planning Committee, which is composed of 22 members representing faculty, staff, students and administrators. The Committee’s composition is intended to represent diverse expertise, experiences and perspectives.
The planning process will incorporate broad-based participation to inform the Committee’s recommendations for the strategic plan. The Committee will host discovery sessions for students, faculty, and staff, as well as administer an online survey to solicit thoughts, feedback and recommendations. The Committee will also seek targeted input and feedback from the Board of Trustees, UNC System, Cabinet members, deans, members of the Faculty Future Planning Group, members of affinity faculty and staff caucuses, Staff Council officers, alumni, University supporters, representatives of the Charlotte corporate community and University partners.
