Melva G. Jenkins

Administrative Support Associate

Melva joined the Chancellor’s Office in August 2017. As Administrative Support Associate, Melva focuses on assisting the Executive Assistant/Office Budget Coordinator with fulfilling business and fiscal functions for the Chancellor’s office, Office of Legal Affairs, and the Title IX Office; managing the front office by answering inquiries, creating and editing correspondence, and assisting with other projects as needed. In addition, she serves as backup to the Liaison to the Board of Trustees and Chancellor’s Cabinet.

Melva graduated from North Carolina State University in May 1989 with a degree in Business Management. She has extensive experience working in university settings and has served in managerial positions as well as customer service positions.
