Industry & Community Progress
In 2022-23, UNC Charlotte built on its mission as North Carolina’s urban research university, driving progress in Charlotte and beyond through programs, outreach, cultural events and community collaborations. Among the highlights for the year is a historic partnership of up to $23 million from North Carolina-based Mebane Foundation to support teacher literacy education, engagement and research and the launch of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
