UNC Charlotte’s guiding commitment to lead in equity and engagement was evident in 2022-23 as the University launched new programs and received a growing number of national awards and rankings for its leadership in access, equity and inclusion.
Further, Charlotte 49ers Athletics is well-positioned as student-athletes begin competing in the American Athletic Conference in fall 2023. For 2022-23, teams set records on and off the field, winning a school record eight conference titles, and also the first post-season tournament in men’s basketball history.
