Chancellor's Residence, Sara H. Bissell House

Dr. Dubois and his wife, Lisa Lewis Dubois, are the first family to occupy the chancellor's official campus residence, (Sara H.) Bissell House. The first on-campus Chancellor’s Residence was constructed in 2004 by Chancellor Woodward in  anticipation of a new chancellor’s arrival in 2005. It was named in honor of the many contributions of Sara H. Bissell to the life of the University, including service on the Board of Trustees and the design and decoration of the Chancellor’s official residences, including Chancellor Woodward’s former residence in south Charlotte and the new campus facility.
